The Commission for Independent Education

The Commission for Independent Education, an agency of the Florida Department of Education, has statutory responsibilities in matters relating to nonpublic, postsecondary, educational institutions. Florida University USA is Licensed by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education, under the License number 6361. Association for Biblical Higher Education

On February 17, 2021, the ABHE Commission on Accreditation granted Applicant Status to Florida University USA for Institutional Accreditation. Applicant Status is a Commission on Accreditation pre-membership status granted to those institutions that meet the COA’s Conditions of Eligibility and that possess such qualities as might provide a basis for achieving candidate status within a maximum of five years.

The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), was originally founded in 1947 as The Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges (AABC). It is a nationally recognized accrediting agency in the United States by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

 

FCPC Membership

Florida University USA is a degree-granting Advanced Member of the Florida Council of Private Colleges, Inc. (FCPC). The FCPC represents its private, faith-based, post-secondary educational institution members before any individual, private or government educational organization. The FCPC educational standards are patterned after our early historical educational institutions of higher learning for the following: faculty, academic curriculum, course development, campus and/or distance learning operations, catalogs, brochures, advertisements, application forms, financial information, and student records and transcripts. CPCA Membership

Florida University USA is a degree-granting Advanced Member of the Council of Private Colleges of America, Inc. (CPCA). The CPCA represents its private, faith-based, post-secondary educational institution members before any individual, private or government educational organization. The CPCA educational standards are patterned after our early historical educational institutions of higher learning for the following: faculty, academic curriculum, course development, campus and/or distance learning operations, catalogs, brochures, advertisements, application forms, financial information, and student records and transcripts The CPCA educational standards equal or exceed the minimum standards of the State of Florida and other State Departments of Education.
